These structures do more than define our skyline—they shape first impressions, influence community pride, and play a vital role in economic vitality. Investing in the preservation and enhancement of our historic properties is essential to the continued success and prosperity of Downtown Gaffney.

 

The City of Gaffney and Downtown Main Street Gaffney encourage all Main Street commercial property and business owners to take advantage of the Main Street Grant Program.

The purpose of the Main Street Grants is to provide financial assistance for façade improvements and building preservation efforts that:

​

• Create an inviting, attractive, and comfortable environment for shopping, working, and gathering

• Preserve and celebrate the unique historic character of our downtown

• Support the attraction of new businesses and investment

• Encourage high-quality renovations using durable, appropriate materials

 

Together, these efforts help strengthen the heart of our community and ensure Downtown Gaffney remains a vibrant place for generations to come.
